Suntory is one of the Japan’s largest beverage maker. The company’s very name is a seal of quality, as Suntory wins global whisky awards year after year. From time to time the company releases specialty bottles – eminently collectible favorites of whisky fans. This bottle takes the shape of a piano.
Nose: Full with notes of its fragrant and fruity aroma, some resin and oak, a gentle smoke and cacao, hints of cooked fruit, and a nutty note.
Palate: Rich with crisp of mixed peels, raisin and custard. Sweet with a little zest and plenty of oak.
Finish: Long, with notes of oak and sherry peels.
Suntory is one of the largest alcohol beverages marker in Japan . It has produced innumerable award winning whiskies for both the domestic and export markets. Of these, both the single malts of Yamazaki and Hakushu often make the headlines but the distillery group also produces the sensational (and multiple award winning) Hibiki blended whisky, (aged at 12yo, 17yo, 21 yo and 30 yo) using spirit from the aforementioned distilleries as well as grain whisky from their Chita production plant.
